"God is Love" is written upon every opening bud, upon every spire of springing grass. The lovely birds making the air vocal with their happy songs, the delicately tinted flowers in their perfection perfuming the air, the lofty trees of the forest with their rich foliage of living green, all testify to the tender, fatherly care of our God, and to his desire to make his children happy.
Steps to Christ pg. 10
Something very interesting happened today. Dr. Logan, the surgeon who fixed my hand, offered me a part time job in his office. It’s interesting how the worst things end up turning into something positive. I never would have thought a job would have come out of a broken hand, but here’s to making lemonade out of lemons!! :)
I just realized today just how many times I’ve had to be in the ER or OR (operating room) in the last 2 years. It’s quite a staggering number actually. I broke my nose 2 years ago and received 10 stitches in the ER, then I got a stomach virus and spent the first night of our honeymoon in the ER 1.5 years ago, then I broke my hand and went to the ER 1 year ago and had surgery a couple of weeks later in the OR. I just went back to the OR 2 days ago and had another surgery to remove the plate they put in my hand. My goal for this next year is no ER visits and no more surgeries. We’ll see how long I can keep that up.
